In 2008, we developed Mi Comunidad New Mexico, an organization that allows us to fund local non-profits and charities.  We have partnered with El Ranchito De Los Ninos, Make A Wish Foundation, Special Olympics New Mexico, Ronald McDonald House, Joy Junction, Albuquerque Community Foundation.

For several years, Harmonix Technologies has been partnered with Los Ojos De La Familia, a grassroots movement providing educational development and quality of life assistance to individuals and families in New Mexico.

Internships

We also have focused on offering Paid Internships to High School and College Students who are interested in career paths in STEM.

The dedication Harmonix has to the community was sprouted from a seed that was planted in our Founder’s history. Jack graduated High School with an Associate’s Degree, he was one of the 1st graduating classes that had the opportunity to work, with what is now known as Intel’s STEM Education Program. This completely propelled his future in Technology and today has sparked his on-going initiative to offer similar opportunities to students.

Michael

After assisting with a project in December of 2016, I started my first full time role at Harmonix Technologies in the summer of 2017, right after my junior year of high school.

After over 2 years with Harmonix alongside 1 year at the University of New Mexico, I accepted an offer to finish my undergraduate degree in computer science at Columbia University in New York.

While at Harmonix, my most valuable knowledge was earned while working through brand new experiences and testing personal limits. Configuring a switch stack, building out a new server, designing a wireless network, or dressing a full network rack for the first time made for the most enjoyable days during my summers, and learning more about each subject made the next project that much better than the last. Carrying out the high level of preciseness, elegance, and integrity for all of Harmonix’s technical projects not only lifted my own personal standards, it also gave a huge boost to my management, communication, and customer service abilities.

Abdiel

Abdiel Ramirez started at Harmonix Technologies as an undergraduate in UNM’s Computer Engineering program where received a degree in Computer Engineering with honors. During that time he was inducted into Eta Kappa Nu, for being a student that had distinguished himself in the field. He is currently wrapping up his Masters in the same field, working at Ultramain Systems as a Software Engineer. “Working at Harmonix Technologies gave me hands on experience to compliment my classroom education. I got to work alongside some of the brightest minds in network engineering.”
