About Jack T. Vigil
In 2005, Jack T. Vigil, founded Harmonix Technologies on the principle of customer service and delivering excellence. As the Chairman of the Board and CEO, Jack takes great pride in his title as a Senior Network Architect. His discipline to deliver a masterpiece comes from his impeccable attention to detail and management of projects from beginning to end. Jack has an insatiable drive to understand and integrate complex technological systems to better service his clients.
Harmonix Technologies is a “Debt-Free” Company without any outstanding business loans or liabilities.
Jack is from Peñasco, a town in Northern New Mexico. While in High School he excelled in Bodybuilding Competitions and various Martial Arts disciplines. He enlisted in the United States Army National Guard and went to bootcamp the summer of his Junior Year in High School. Jack later received an Honorable discharge after his term. Jack attended NNMC in his Junior and Senior Year of High School through the Intel Engineering Program, Jack was an accelerated student and completed his degree requirements in a fraction of the time. He obtained his degree in Electronics Computer Engineering.
In the early 2000’s, Jack became a Lucent Cable Plant Engineer and begin his journey in the Converged IP Networking field and began Designing and Implementing small to large WAN, LAN, Data, Video, Voice and Wireless Networks. He has obtained multiple certifications and licenses in various networking protocols and programming, to include ES03, ES07 Low voltage Contractor License, Avaya ACE and Extreme ENS, to name a few.
By the age of 23, Jack was one of the youngest Fortune 1000 Vice Presidents in the United States and by 2003, he was the highest grossing Sales Executives in the Industry.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and driven work ethic, Jack was a born leader. Jack is dedicated to his (Spartan) team. In the beginning stages of Harmonix, the team collectively began calling him by the nickname “The General” due to his strategic planning skills, his ability to negotiate and lead his team daily and his inspirational “Wise Words” shared weekly. The name has since stuck and even his own Dad uses the term of endearment. In addition to his dedication to his field, Jack enjoys studying history’s greatest leaders, race car driving and spending time mentoring students. His life path is to master the skill of the Mind-Body-Spirit principle that he acquired while studying with Eastern Martial Arts Grandmasters and Buddhist Monks. He also contributes a great deal of his success to his late Grandfather, John and his parents, Ray and Mary Vigil who by example showed him the results of hard work and dedication. Jack is a New Mexico Amigo and serves as a Board Member of Los Ojos de la Familia, a grassroots non-profit in Albuquerque, NM that focuses on raising funds for scholarships, medical support and food assistance. Ultimately Jack wants to grow Harmonix Technologies into a billion-dollar enterprise, where he can better serve his team, his clients and his community!
